Everyone has their favorite foods I want to find out what are your top ten most favorite Middle Eastern Cooking Recipes? Without thinking hard these are my top ten.
1. Shish Kebab (with all the varieties, chicken, Beef)
2. Kebab Hala (Mariette did a video for this recipe called Beef Kebab Casserole.) I know its popular in Sudan.
3. Shakshouka which is also known as Chakchouka. Popular in Tunisia and Middle East.
4. Eggplant Kebab (If you haven't tried this recipe you're missing out)
5. Foul Mudammas (It's one of my favorites, quick and easy to make)Very Popular in Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
6. Kibbeh Labanieh A Hot Yogurt and Meatball Soup. You can make it with chicken or beef or lamb.
7. Stuffed Kibbeh I always find myself reaching for more.
8. Lahmajun (This will remind you of Pizza, but it is not with a distinct taste and you could even purchase one from your local Middle Eastern or Armenian Bakery and taste it before making it. You'll love it.
9. Kibbeh Bil Sinieh Perfect with salad very popular and fulfilling I might add.
10. Stuffed Cabbage Roll - Healthy and perfect party food.

Where can I get explanation on Middle Eastern cooking recipes. Such as from which country is each recipe.
top 10 middle eastern cooking recipes for me is hummus, lahmajun, baba ghanouj, tabouli, shawerma, shish kebab, shish taouk, stuffed kibeh, kibbe labanieh and the list goes on and on. These were the quickest that came to mind so it must be my favorite.

Why are Middle Eastern cooking recipes so good? When in Middle East I was amazed at all the richness of the food served and the people were so amazing.
All Middle Eastern Recipes are top 10. They are the best. I love them. Specially made the traditional way at those Middle Eastern dinner dances.

I would say the list goes on but this is a quick top ten that you can't go wrong with. I included the links to the recipes and videos.
I want to try all these Middle Eastern Recipes. I visited Syria, Lebanon and Jordan and can tell you food is number one. I am glad to have found this website there are many of the recipes I love.

I can't choose the top ten Middle Eastern cooking recipes. It's all good. Do not limit yourself to the top ten I would say go for the top 100.
This top ten Middle Eastern recipe list is a good starting point. I've used this list to slowly add the recipes to my list but there is much more recipes and they're all good.
Is Middle Eastern Recipe like Arabic Recipes? I have tried many of these at a Lebanese restaurant and am glad to find them here. I will try each and everyone of them.

I will try some on this list that I've never heard of before. I wouldn't be able to make a top ten middle eastern cooking recipes list. It is easier to make a top one hundred.
shawerma is the best with some hummus, pita bread and some pickles.
Hummus is my favorite, I first tasted it in Syria then Lebanon. Very memorable trip. Every restaurant had it. It's like if you don't have Hummus you're not in business.
I do see some brands here in the states that have canned Hummus but I love making it myself. Enough rambling.
My list goes something like this hummus, baba ghanoush, muttabal, kibbeh labanieh, muhammara, lahmajun, shish kebab, muttabal, eggplant kebab is the best, mish.

I agree Hummus is really tasty. A Middle Eastern Table, specially for occasions, has to have hummus.
I love middle eastern cooking and am finding some great recipes here. I am using this top ten list as my guide and want to master these recipes.
as a Middle Eastern cooking fan I always get to try something new from a country other than mine. I love the hummus and tabouli and what about all the sweet stuff that is so good.
