How to make pulled pork sandwiches recipe - It may take a long time to cook in the slow cooker or crock pot, but it does practically all the work for you.  Seasoned with Root Beer and your favourite BBQ Sauce, this recipe will definitely be a crowd pleaser.  You can also use another cut of pork if you do not want to use tenderloin as it may be a little pricey.  It will have the same great flavor!  Crock pot cooking is really easy, especially you can time it before you go to work and come back with your food all ready. 

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe
 
Instructions:
 
1) Season the pork tenderloin with salt, black pepper and garlic powder (Rub the seasoning all over the meat) and place it in the slow cooker.
 
2) Pour the root beer over the meat. 
 
3) Using the lid of the slow cooker cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or until the pork shreds easily.  
 
4) Once the meat shreds easily with a fork, remove from the cooker and drain well. 
 
5) Place back into the cooker and stir in the barbecue sauce. Cook for an additional 30 minutes. 
 
6) Ready to serve on your favourite hamburger buns.
 
 
 
 
Ingredients: 
  1. 2 pound pork tenderloin or meat of choice
  2. 1 can or bottle of root beer - 12 fluid ounce
  3. 1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
  4. salt to taste
  5. black pepper to taste
  6. garlic powder to taste
  7. 8 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted
