Curry Powder Recipe

This curry powder is splendid to say the least.  If you are starting with whole spices you can also lightly toast them then place them in a coffee grinder after they cool a bit and grind them to a smooth texture. This process will make the curry even more fresher fragrant mixture.  Curry powder can be used with a wide variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables. This proportion makes approximately 3/4 cups of seasoning powder. So if you are cooking Indian Curry, and are looking for a curry powder seasoning recipe, then this is the recipe for you.Instructions:1) In a mixing bowl add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, ginger, dry mustard, fenugreek, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, chile pepper, and cardamon powders.2) Mix together well.3) Use as needed and store the rest in an airtight container or bottle and place in your spice cabinet.

Ingredients: 
  1. 5 tablespoons ground coriander seeds
  2. 2 tablespoons ground cumin seeds
  3. 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
  4. 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  5. 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  6. 2 teaspoons ground fenugreek seeds
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  8. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  9. 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  11. 1/2 teaspoon ground chile peppers
