Easy Lemon Pasta Chicken

Easy Lemon Pasta Chicken Recipes by The Neelys from Food Network.  Down Home With The Neelys make this Easy Chicken Pasta with lemon juice a real treat to make. A great simple recipe really, can be made with or without the chicken for more of a vegetarian recipe.  It's great to make for BBQ's and perfect for parties. 


1) Start with boiling a pot of salted water, and cooking the pasta al dente (7 to 10 minutes) Drain.

2) Heat a large grill pan on high heat and add the chicken seasoned with salt and black pepper.

3) Grill the chicken until completely cooked, and the juices run clear. Remove and set aside.

4) Heat up 3 tablespoons of olive oil, and saute the garlic and red pepper flakes for few seconds. 

5) After draining the pasta add to the garlic and toss to coat.  Turn heat off.

6) Place the pasta into a large mixing bowl or large serving bowl and add the chicken, sprinkle with chopped parsley.

7) Season with salt and black pepper to taste, also the lemon juice.  Mix and right before serving sprinkle Parmesan cheese.


12 ounce penne pasta or pasta or choice 2 chicken breast, cut into fingers 3 cloves garlic, sliced 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons roughly chopped fresh parsley, for garnish 2 lemons, juiced 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Salt to taste Black pepper to taste
