Falafel Recipe has its undisputed roots in Egypt where it is known as Taamiya, and has become popular in Middle East, Europe and the United States. Nutritional Value for falafel: Includes Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Thiamine, Vitamin C, Vitamin b, Folate, and Beta Carotine.

In a mixing bowl add two pouches of Falafel mix, I will be making a tutorial on how to make this from scratch, add the minced parsley, garlic, baking powder,

The flower I add only 1 or 1/4 tablespoon at first and if it is too watery then I'll add the rest. Add the cumin, red pepper, baking powder, garlic, and parsley and mix well. I don't put salt since there is already salt in the Falafel mix. Add one cup of water, mix well and let it stand for 20 to 30 minutes. Then taste it and see if you need to add more salt or not. For this tutorial I decided the salt, that is already in the pre packed falafel mix, was enough.

After 30 minutes the mix is ready. Once you take a portion in your hand and tighten your grip and find it holding together then it is ready to be fried.

Put around 1 1/2 to 2 inches of oil in the pan and wait till its hot.
Using a spoon, scoop a portion of the mix, and mold it like you're going to make meatballs, to the size that you like and then flatten it a little and this will give you the traditional falafel look.

carefully place the Falafel in the hot oil and make sure you don't, place too many falafels so they won't touch eachother and make sure you don't touch it or try to move it until it is cooked a little otherwise it will break apart.

If it browns too fast, reduce the heat, so it cooks evenly both sides.

That's it now let's enjoy this Popular Middle Eastern Recipe.
