Fried Biscuits

Fried Biscuits by Paula Deen from Food Network Fried Dough Recipe. Easy and quick snack or dessert made by Paula Deen, Fried biscuits. Try it with the Honey Butter recipe.  Ever though of frying up some biscuits, well it sure can be done, and the taste reminds you of doughnuts.  There are so many different recipes for buttermilk biscuits.  This is absolutely a fun and easy way to make a sweet treat and have people guessing how long it took you to actually make a batch of these yummy biscuits. Definately, a give it at try recipe.

Instructions:

1) Open a canister of ready made biscuits and seperate each biscuit.

2) Heat up the oil in a large pot.

3) Drop each biscuit into the hot oil.

4) Cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

5) Remove with a slotted utensil and drain on a kitchen paper towel.

6) Serve with honey butter (Check out Easy Squeeze Honey Butter) Using a plastic bottle, typically used for ketchup or mustard, insdert the spout into the fried biscuit and squeeze a good amount into the biscuit and serve.

 

Ingredients: 
  1. 1 (12-ounce) can biscuits
  2. 3 cups vegetable oil, for deep frying
