Chicken Hot Wings Recipe

The Best Chicken Hot Wings In Town. This recipe is ideal for fun days, superbowl parties and when you want to have a quick and delicious dinner for you and that someone special.

This hot wings and Buffalo wings tradition started when a wrong shipment of chicken parts was delivered to Frank Bellisimo's restaurant. Thanks' to his wifeTeressa who came up with the hot wings or buffalo wings idea and it was an instant hit and the rest is history. There are about 4 different versions of stories this is one of them as per the New Yorker article by Calvin Trillin.

Directions:

1) Heat vegetable oil in a wok or deep pan. Once the oil is hot, carefully add each chicken wing, and try not to crowd the pan. Cook until golden brown and cooked completely.

2) Remove with a slotted spoon onto a plate with kitchen paper towel to drain the excess oil.

3) Season with a little salt to taste.

4) In a small sauce pot melt the butter. Add the hot sauce and vinegar and allow to heat through. No need to cook it.

5) Add the cooked chicken wings into a mixing bowl, and In a mixing bowl add pour the the butter and hot sauce mixture all over and coat well.

6) Serve with blue cheese dip with celery sticks. Enjoy!
