New England Coleslaw

This is the New England Coleslaw recipe. There are variations of this recipe and I will post those too in the near future. If you have any coleslaw recipes feel free to share with us.

1 - small head cabbage, shredded fine
1/2 - cup heavy cream, whipped
1/2 - cup sugar
1/2 - cup vinegar
1/2 - teaspoon salt
1/2 - teaspoon pepper

Shred the Cabbage
Beat the Sugar into the cream, continue beating as you add the vinegar.
Pour the mixture of cream, sugar and vinegar onto the cabbage. Mix well.

Season with salt and pepper and toss.

I usually refrigerate it for an hour or two before serving.

Note: You can also add shredded carrots if you wish.
