Parsley Hummus Dip Recipe

1) In a food processor, blend the garlic and parsley.

2) Add the chickpeas (garbanzo beans) to the food processor and blend for 1 minute.

3) Pour in the sesame oil, tahini, sour cream, lemon peel, cumin, cayenne pepper and salt.

4) Blend until smooth. 

5) If the consistancy is to thick, then pour in a little water and blend again.

  1. 1 to 2 garlic clove
  2. 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
  3. 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas / garbanzo bean, drained and rinsed
  4. 1/4 cup sour cream
  5. 3 tablespoons Tahini
  6. 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  8. 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  10. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
