Parsley Salad Pivaz

This is a Healthy, quick and easy Parsley Pivaz Salad. Perfect addition to your vegetarian / vegan menu.   For written ingredients and directions visit   Parsley contains a lot of health benefits such as essential vitamins.  If the taste of onion is to much, you can always reduce the amount of onion you add to this salad.  This salad is usually served with Kebabs.  Besides all the healthy benefits of eating raw parsley food, this Pivaz recipe is simple and easy to put together.A popular Middle Eastern Salad, served with luleh kebob, shish kebab, with beef and chicken or simply eaten on its own.  Italian Parsley or American Parsley, they both will work. The onions should be sliced thinly and tossed together in the mixing bowl. And spice it up with sumac sumak, paprika and salt.


1) Wash the parsley and allow to dry. 

2) In a mixing bowl, add the parsley, onion, sumac, paprika and salt to taste.

3) Mix together well.

4) Serve with luleh kebab or any kebab recipes. Enjoy!

*Note: Subsitute for Sumac is Lime or Lemon Juice.


  1. 1 1/2 bunch parsley
  2. 1 onion, sliced thinly
  3. 1 teaspoon paprika,
  4. 3 to 4 teaspoon sumac
  5. salt to taste
