Shrimp Pasta with Pesto Sauce

For a quick and easy Italian food try this shrimp recipe, with this fabulous pesto linguine pasta dish. Serving this Italian Pasta recipe will be as good as going to a gourmet restaurant. Try my homemade Pesto sauce that is on the website.


1) In a pot of boiling water, cook the pasta 8 minutes or until al dente.

2) Melt 2 Tablespoons of butter on a hot skillet, then add the garlic and saute.

3) Add the shrimp and Pesto, and saute for about 2 to 3 minutes.

4) At this point the shrimp and pesto is ready for the pasta. Either add the pasta to the skillet and coat the pesto all over the pasta. Or pour the pesto mixture onto a bed of pasta.

5) Top with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. (Optional)

6) And serve. Enjoy!

*Note - Remember the Shrimp is already cooked, so don't over cook the shrimp otherwise it will get hard.

  1. 1/2 Pound Linguine Pasta
  2. 2 Tablespoon Butter
  3. 5 Cloves of Garlic - Chopped
  4. 1/2 Pound of Cooked Shrimp - Shelled with Tail on or off
  5. Salt & Pepper - To Taste
  6. 4 Tablespoon - Pesto Sauce
  7. Fresh Basil - Chopped - Optional
  8. Shredded Parmesan Cheese - Optional
