How to make these very easy spicy refrigerator dill pickles have a hint of sweetness.  They are so flavorful and get ready to be hooked on these dill pickles.  You will love this recipe!  If you want it really spicy add more garlic and crushed red pepper flakes.  Even a jalapeno or serrano pepper if you the pickle to be sorching spicy.  Make it to your favorable palatte and enjoy these lovely cucumber pickles.



1) Combind ghd cucumbers, vinegar, water, chopped dill, garlic, sugar, salt, dill seed, red pepper flakes and pickling spice in a large mixing bowl. 
2) Stir and let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.  Wait until the sugar and salt dissolves. 
3) Using 1 1/2 pint wide mouth jars, place 4 to 5 cucumbers into each jar.  
4) Pour in the liquid into each jar. 
5) For added flavor place a sprif of fresh dill into each jar, and seal tightly with its lid.  
6) Refrigerate for atleast 10 days before serving.  
7) Best used within 1 month. 
8) Add more or less garlic and red pepper flakes, if you like it more spicy. 
  1. 12 pickling cucumbers
  2. 2 cups water
  3. 1 3/4 cups white vinegar
  4. 1/2 cup white sugar
  5. 1 to 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh dill weed
  6. 10 to 12 cloves garlic, chopped
  7. 1 1/2 tablespoons coarse salt
  8. 1 tablespoon pickling spice
  9. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons dill seed
  11. 3 sprigs fresh dill weed
